ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT

Everyone should be able to use this site and take part in a session. Here is what we do, where we fall short, and how to tell us when something gets in your way.

Last updated: 24 August 2026

1. Our commitment

Facilitation Alive is a trading name of TWS Training Ltd. Facilitation is about making sure everyone in the room can take part, and the same principle applies to this website.

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. We review the site as pages are added or changed, and treat accessibility as ongoing work rather than a one-off audit.

2. What is in place

The following measures are built into the site as it stands:

  • Semantic HTML with a single, logical heading structure on every page.
  • Keyboard access to all navigation, forms, dialogs and the diagnostic tool, with visible focus styles.
  • Colour contrast that meets or exceeds AA for body text and interactive elements.
  • Touch targets of at least 44px on mobile navigation, buttons and form controls.
  • Descriptive alternative text on meaningful images, and decorative images hidden from assistive technology.
  • Respect for the operating-system 'reduce motion' setting: animations, scrolling banners and page transitions are stopped or simplified.
  • Text that reflows and remains readable at 200% zoom and on small screens.
  • Form fields with associated labels, clear error messages, and an email alternative for every form.
  • Downloadable resources available as an alternative to on-page content, plus results from the diagnostic available as a PDF summary.

3. Known limitations

We want to be honest about the areas we are still improving:

  • Some animated GIF clips of live sessions play automatically. They contain no audio, no flashing content and no essential information, and they are paused for anyone using reduced-motion settings.
  • PDF downloads are tagged for reading order but have not been through a full accessibility audit. If you need a resource in another format, ask and we will send it.
  • Embedded third-party content, such as scheduling or video tools we may add, is not fully under our control. We choose accessible providers where a choice exists.

4. Accessibility in sessions

Accessibility is part of how sessions are designed and run, not an add-on. Before a programme starts we ask about access requirements and adjust accordingly.

Typical adjustments include sharing materials in advance, providing large-print or digital handouts, using captions in virtual sessions, describing visuals out loud, building in regular breaks, and offering alternatives to activities that assume movement, handwriting or speaking in front of a group.

If you have a requirement we have not listed, tell us and we will design around it.

5. Reporting a barrier

If you encounter something on this site or in a session that you cannot use, we want to know. Email hello@facilitationalive.com with the page address, what you were trying to do, and the assistive technology or settings you were using if that is relevant.

We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within two working days and to explain what we will do and by when. Where a fix will take time, we will offer another way to get the information or complete the task.

6. Enforcement and further help

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS) in the UK for advice about your rights under the Equality Act 2010.

This statement applies to https://facilitationalive.com and was prepared following our own review of the site rather than an external audit.
